After being referred to the Attorney General, we have received our Draft Ballot Title! This is the proposed summary language that would be displayed on the ballot if IP13 qualifies for the 2022 election.
The full Draft Ballot Title can be found here: http://oregonvotes.org/irr/2022/013dbt.pdf
While we recognize the difficulty in summarizing this initiative within the word limit and appreciate the effort put into the initial draft, we do not feel that the title meets the needs of voters (or the animals) in accurately portraying the effects of IP13.
Given our concerns, we submitted comments on the draft ballot title. These comments will be reviewed by the Attorney General and a revised ballot title will be issued on June 21st.

In addition to our own comments, a number of other groups submitted comments as well.
