About The Event

IP13 is a proposed ballot initiative for the 2022 statewide Oregon general election. If passed, IP13 would remove exemptions from our state's animal cruelty laws in order to hold all industries accountable to the same animal cruelty standards and expand legal protections to all animals in Oregon.

This event is to help get IP13 on the ballot. We'll be meeting at the starting location specified on the event page in order to go over some quick petitioning guidelines and then split into groups to gather signatures at nearby locations. We will then meet back at the start location after 2 hours to debrief.

Please RSVP as soon as possible for this event so we can plan to have the necessary materials for each participant. We will provide all necessary materials for canvassing. A mask is required to participate, even if you have been fully vaccinated. If you do not have one, let us know and we will provide one for you.

Due to the required training at the start of the event, you must arrive on time in order to participate unless you have previously collected signatures for the campaign.
